The story of a picture

Well, the person in the picture is Eugène Atget, he is a great photographer but he never was appreciate like an artist. That picture was taken by Berenice Abbot and she rescued the work of Atget. When Atget die Abbot bought almost all this negative and she made a gallery only with the art of Atget.

I don't know when the picture was taken, I only know that Abbot worked with Ray Man -another great photographer- and he also saw in the picture of Atget  real art, the thing is that Abbot knew Atget while she worked with Ray Man.

I like the art of all those photographer but I especially like Atget because he was a strong influence in the picture of Abbot and Ray Man, and Atget never saw himself like an artist, he lived in a 

humble way his life consist in walked all Paris on foot to take pictures. He could captured Paris and his people in a way that no one else could see.

childhood series

When I was a kid I always watched many cartoons, I remember that my house had only two TV's, one in my parents' bedroom and the other in the living room, but my brothers and me always woke up and went to my parents bed to watch the cartoons, so we were all together tight in the bed beacause this became a little small: my two brothers, my mom, my dad and me were in the same bed. Watching TV shows like: Captain Tsubasa, Detective Conan, Inuyasha, SpongeBob SquarePants, The Power Rangers...

In fact I don't remember to much the episodes of the cartoons, I don't know if the cartoons were something significant to me but I remember like something very pretty that moment when we were all together, even when we fought because of the channel.

Well, the time goes by and I started to watch TV shows with real persons: Friends, Two and a half men, and later series like Breaking Bad, Twin Peaks, Seinfeld, The Sopranos. Mad Men... But I was never  very good at watching anime in the computer. Today my brothers watch on the computer many animes and I just can't do that, I don't know why. I prefer download movies, usually old movies, and watch those movies, but anime or cartoons I usually don't download, perhaps I should start to watch that kind of things.

Technology

My favourite piece of technology  it's the mp3, I don't remember when I got it but I have it  for a several years ago. And I suffer when I'm in the street without it because I must hear all the horrible noises: cars, construction, horns, shouts... With the mp3 I don't have to listen all those noises, I listen music that's so much better than listen the cars and the horns.

Probably, my life without the mp3 would be more stressful or maybe I would spend all my time locked up in my house so I wouldn't listen to hear those noises. But the firt option it's more reasonable, so I would be a stressed person that smoke a lot and who would probably die of cancer.

The thing is that I must bring with me music. 

Career

When I was a child I always changed my opinion of my future job. Arquitect, mechanic, basketball player... But as years went by nothing really satisfy me. Movies just came to me, I don't know how, It just came, and when I finished my school period I just could think in studying cinema. In the election of the careers I choose besides cinema, laws but I knew that wasn't my career, I just choose that because an insecurity produced when you think in a artistic career. My experience in the university have been very pleasant, I feel lucky being here studying cinema and I think that this university give me tools to, in a future, work making films. That's what I want.

Biography

I was born in Antofagasta, the capital of the second region of the country, in 1997. But i got to move in 2008 to Santiago because of my dad job, since then i have lived in this city. Before the university i have been in 3 schools, the first in Antofagasta and the others here in the capital. Today i'm studyng cinema in the Univeridad de Chile and i feel it has been the right desicion. I have two brothers, one older with 22 years old and other younger with 18 year old. We all live together with my parents. To pass the time i play music, i love hear and play music, i play the guitar and the harmonic. I read a little too, to pass the time. And i don't know what else to say.

jimmy

Once upon a time there was a man named Jimmy, who really enjoyed traveling, and he took a trip on a cruise. Unfortunately, the cruise had an accident and he was the only survivor. He swam to a small island but he got stuck there. Luckily in the island he found some coconuts, but in a couple of days it ran out. He thought to himself: “I wish I could come back to the civilization and have mountains of food”. One day, unexpectedly, he found a bottle floating in the ocean.
